My Review:

I don't make a habit of reviewing children's books (my focus is usually on romance/fantasy/horror), but in my household there is an obsession of Frozen shared by all, so I was pretty sure my daughter would disown me if I didn't take the opportunity to read the book her favorite movie was based off of.  While I'm not sure, aside from there being a queen encompassing her victim's heart with ice, what the connection was, this was a very sweet, simple, and satisfying read.  The religious references were a little out of my comfort zone, but I recognize given the time period the original book was written this was probably pretty common.  What I think was unique to this author was the way he weaved those biblical themes in with pre-christian mythology. This book holds a well earned status as a classic.
